Victoria’s Registry Tips
Here are some
simple ideas that might help you in your Registry choices…
- Consider only registering for one set of china and dressing it
up or down depending on the occasion. Having one set will allow you
to
acquire a larger amount of that pattern, possibly even a full twelve
placesettings.
Recommendation: Bianco
White Placesetting. Everyone
needs a basic white pattern. This Tuscan peasant style design from the14th
century will make you feel like you
are dining in Italy everyday. The Bianco pattern has great rustic terracotta
edges that will accompany any Deruta accessory.
Of course some of you
may fall in love with a particular Deruta pattern and want a hand-painted
placesetting. In that case, order the full placesetting in the pattern
of your choice. One can never have too much Deruta!
- Choose a Deruta
pattern that speaks to you and then enjoy ordering accessories for
your table. Consider all choices from canisters, salt and pepper shakers,
pitchers, sugar/creamers, vases, and serving platters. Remember to
pick
as many
items as possible -- that way there will be a range of prices on your
list -- something for everyone. The accessory items are all handmade

your placesetting.
